Flying filly She’sallshenanigans has stunned the local crowd at Bendigo, destroying her rivals by more than 4 lengths to take out the $250,000 Vobis Gold Rush.
The speedy Toronado filly, purchased for $115,000 at last year’s Magic Millions sale, flew the gates with expert front running rider Linda Meech aboard. She was able to settle on the speed and was relatively unchallenged throughout. Travelling sweetly into the straight, it took nothing more than a slight shake of the reins to click the filly into gear and she roared away from them to score in very stylish fashion.
The filly’s prizemoney has now eclipsed more than $200,000 and she puts herself in the box seat as a leading contender in the $1m Vobis Showdown at Sandown on the 15th of April. She looks as though she’s matured and will find the 1200m to her liking so we can’t wait to see what she can do in the big prizemoney race.
