Ararat was taken by storm when out small, but mighty Toronado gelding Toro De Carga secured his maiden in fine style under the guidance of gun apprentice Tom Prebble.
He jumped with them and travelled well in running, sitting three-back the fence. Upon straightening Tom did not panic, he stuck to the rail like glue and rode for absolute luck in the straight and pulling it off to win extremely comfortably ahead of the short priced favourite.
He is a tough little horse who has hardly ruin a bad race in this short career, he looks to be a promising little miler to race around consistently each time. He is a great little earner for his owners and he looks to have plenty more in store for him!
Huge congratulations to his owners and Donalds winners on this win.
