On Sunday at Geelong in the 2400m BM58 promising stayer Winds of March franked his good for from his maiden victory to post back to back wins.
The Tarzino 4yo made light work of his opposition when Daniel Stackhouse was once again able to put this horse in a great position in the run before building through his gears to streak away with an authoritative win.
His second win in the space of nine days tells us that he’s absolutely thriving on racing and getting out to these longer staying trips. We will look to step him up to city grade when he tackles the 2500m BM64 at Moonee Valley on February 17.
Thanks once again to the team at Rosemont Stud and the band of owners in the horse who looks to have a bright future. This horse was purchased from the NZB Karaka Sale for just $67,500 and looks like he’ll be providing great value for money going forward.
