Simon Zahra Racing in conjunction with Donald’s Racing have purchased a stunning chestnut filly by champion sire Written Tycoon from one of the best families in the Australian stud book for just $180,000 + GST.
WRITTEN TYCOON needs no introduction being the sire of 51 individual stakes winners in Australia including Golden Slipper winner CAPITALIST, Blue Diamond winner WRITTEN BY and Golden Rose/Caulfield Guineas winner OLE KIRK.
The filly is out of NAME OF THE ROSE, a half sister to Listed winner NOCTURNELLE. Her page is littered with black type winners and holds significant residual value with the family still being very active and improving her already impeccable pedigree page.
Physically this filly is a powerful type and very typical of the stallion. Being an October foal with some development to come, we believe this filly will become a standout on type and will continue to improve.
