We were very excited to be able to land a colt of this calibre on the first day of the Inglis Premier Sale in Melbourne.
Written By was a champion two year old, winning 6 of his first 7 races including the Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes. His only miss was a close up 4th in the Golden Slipper. A dynamic sprinter with blistering speed, he was rated as the best colt legendary trainer Grahame Begg has trained.
This colt is by first season sire Written By, whose progeny Simon has been super impressed with throughout this year’s sales season.
The dam is by So You Think and is a half sister to Wakeful Stakes winner TIAMO GRACE and also boasts Group 1 winner I AM A STAR on the page.
A flashy type, he was purchased from up and coming farm Sullivan Bloodstock. The colt has the coveted So You Think looks and is built to run. He’ll be given the time he needs to fully develop and we’re hoping he’ll be ready to hit the track as a two year old and train on at three to compete for the rich prizemoney on offer in Victoria.
