Description
Simon went to the Inglis Easter sale with the objective of finding a classy filly to win the Thousand Guineas and Oaks with, and this stunning daughter of the Autumn Sun fitted the bill.
The Autumn Sun is without doubt the boom stallion of this year’s sales season and it’s easy to see why. On the racetrack, he won 5 Group 1 races including the Golden Rose, Caulfield Guineas, Rosehill Guineas, Randwick Guineas and JJ Atkins, and he did so in dominant fashion.
The dam Rosa Carolina is by the exceptional broodmare sire in Savabeel. She was stakes placed in Australia and is from rich New Zealand bloodlines. She is the half sister to two stakes horses and her dam Ombre Rose was a class mare and a dual G1 placegetter herself.
This filly is one of the smoothest movers you could wish to see at a yearling sale and extremely light on her feet as she walks with purpose. Simon thinks she’ll develop into a beautiful classics type filly who will be at her best as a three year old.
