On day two of Karaka 2023 we were thrilled to land this lovely filly by first season sire Super Seth out of a very well related O’Reilly mare.
SUPER SETH was an outstanding racehorse and very much in the mould of his sire Dundeel. He was a versatile horse, winning over sprint trips and being a stakes placed two year old before graduating to Group racing as a three year old where he took out the Group 2 McNeil Stakes over 1200m. But without a doubt his crowning moment was his electric Group 1 Caulfield Guineas victory where he produced a withering turn of foot to run down champion racehorse Alligator Blood.
KISSMEKATE is by outstanding broodmare sire O’Reilly, broodmare sire of many outstanding racehorses including dual Group 1 winner Mounga. She is a half sister to Dual Group 1 winner, NASHVILLE who won an unbelievable 15 races from 1500m to 2100m.
Simon loved this filly on type. She’s a beautiful mover with a lot of scope and covers the ground effortlessly. She’s a strong, well developed filly with a deep girth and a lot of substance. She looks a filly who won’t take forever to get to the races and can target all the classic races with like the Thousand Guineas and VRC Oaks. She was purchased for $110,000.
