It’s an unbelievable honour roll for Ozzie and his team to have created over the last few years and I’ve left plenty out. Now at SZR we get the chance to create our own piece of history by racing a colt in the colours of Australia’s most successful owners.
This strapping chestnut colt is by RUBICK, sire of Everest winner YES YES YES. Rubick was a beautifully bred son of Encosta De Lago who possessed explosive speed on the racetrack, a trait he has passed onto his progeny including Blue Diamond placegetter JACQUINOT and multiple stakeswinner RUBISAKI.
The colt’s dam is by champion broodmare sire DUBAWI, who has himself sired 48 Group 1 winners including BENBATL, SRIKANDI and POET’S VOICE. She is a ¾ sister to a Listed winner and a half sister to another Listed winner.
This colt is a strongly built, forward colt who we will be looking to target the big two year old races including the Group 1 Blue Diamond with. He’s currently spelling after his first educational campaign in at Flemington. He was purchased for $150,000 with shares still available.
