We picked up this lovely athletic filly on day one of the Magic Millions Adelaide sale, $60,000 from vendors Rheinwood Pastoral Co.
By first season sire Hellbent a G1 winning son of I am Invincible.
Now standing at Yarraman Park, the explosive sprinter, whose turn of foot was his greatest asset, has all the hallmarks of his top sire father, traits he is passing on to his progeny & this filly looks to be no exception.
As a racehorse Hellbent was the winner of 7 races between 1000m -1200m. Amassing a total of $901,450 across his career.
Winner of the G1 MVRC William Reid Stakes, a feat which impressed jockey Craig Williams who said the race wasn’t run to suit.
He never ran worse that 4th in four starts at G1 level, including a 2nd in the William Reid Stakes the year prior to his win & a 3rd in the G1 Oakleigh Plate.
This filly is out of Domesday mare She Has Arrived (ex Simply The Best).
She is a half-sister to EZR trained Listed winner Best Is Yet To Come.
She is the dam of one foal to race, Strike A Beau (Brazen Beau) a winner at 1300m.
Second Dam Simply The Best has had 6 foals to race for 5 winners & hails from a well related family that includes G2 New Zealand Cup winner Everswindell.
This filly has a lovely big frame to develop into, very correct & with a great walk, & temperament.
