On day three of the Inglis Premier Sale Simon has struck gold with a strong, super walking filly by first season stallion GRUNT.
On the track Grunt was the best miler of his generation, winning the Group One Australian Guineas as a three year old before training on to defeating an unbelievable weight for age field in the Group One Makybe Diva Stakes the following season.
Her Dam Nombeko is by renowned broodmare sire Shamardal and hails from an incredible European family littered with stakeswinners
This filly’s walk grabbed our attention on first inspection and stuck in our minds for the whole sale until we finally got the chance to secure her on the final day. We’ll give her the time she needs to develop and we expect to see her at her best over a trip as a three year old.
