EXCEEDANCE was an electrifying sprinter by champion sire Exceed and Excel and was a winner of the Group 1 Coolmore Stud Stakes. He was a classy individual and appears to have passed those physical traits and will to win onto his progeny, evidenced by the McEvoy trained DUBLIN DOWN who took out this year’s Group 3 Maribyrnong Plate, giving the stallion his first stakes winner from only a handful of runners.
This filly is out of MEDAGLIA D’ORO mare LADY ORACLE who is from the family of star sprinter KEMENTARI, stakes winner VARDA and promising sire TELPERION amongst a host of other stakeswinners on the page. The mare produces outstanding types, with our filly’s half sister by Zoustar fetching $650,000 at the sales only two years ago.
This filly caught Simon’s eye immediately as a filly with a lot of presence who moved effortlessly and had a great attitude. Being a November foal, it was clear she had a lot of improvement to come and would only continue to come on once we got her home. She’ll head to the paddock for a brief break before we look to have her broken in and brought into the stable.
