DJOCKOVIC is a three year old colt by champion Irish stallion KODIAC who has sired an incredible 37 Group winners including Caulfield Cup winner BEST SOLUTION and recent Group 1 winning Cox Plate placegetter EL BODEGON.
Click the link below to his only race in Ireland. The winner out of the race, Espionage, was beaten 0.1L in a Group 1 the next start. Espionage is a highly rated Group 1 horse and will likely head the market in the Group 1 Irish Derby later in the year. The horse that ran second, Sierra Blanca finished 2nd a G3 the following start and has won since.
He is excellent value at $450,000 with all costs included given some of the prices paid for well performed colts at the recent Tattersalls sales. He has a lot of scope for improvement only being lightly raced, and the sky is the limit. The race above is over 1400m and we believe he has the scope to be performing at his best out to a mile and 2000m.
He has arrived in Australia, completed quarantine and is already into pre-training with Linc Sullivan, so we should be seeing him hit the track over the Winter months where he will go through the grades with ease.
