On day one of the Inglis Premier sale we came with a mission to find a filly capable of competing in the best two year old races in Australia, and we were not going home with this stunning filly by BRAZEN BEAU.
BRAZEN BEAU is the best performed son of champion sire I AM INVINCIBLE, winning the Group 1 Coolmore Stud Stakes, stamping himself as the best colt of his generation. At stud since he’s produced 20 stakes winners including Group 1 winner ON THE BUBBLES and Simon’s star two year old GENERAL BEAU.
SEGENHOE VALLEY is a mare we’re very familiar with after we purchased She’sallshenanigans at last year’s Magic Millions sale, a half sister to this filly. We believe she’s stakes class and will only enhance the breeding page. The dam has also produced stakes winner SHELBY COBRA whose career was cut short by injury.
As a type this filly was an absolute brute, strong and powerful with a deep girth and built for early speed. She was a fantastic mover and looks a filly we can confidently set for all the two year old races and get a quick return on investment.
She was purchased from arguably the best farm in Australia in Segenhoe who have superstars Merchant Navy, King’s Legacy and Oohood amongst others in recent years. Their stats are simply amazing and you put yourself in the Group 1 game when buying from them.
